internally, moving

internally, moving is a time-based piece for cello, viola and single-channel video. The score follows a series of rhythmic patterns that are executed in unison while the performers choose notes from available pitches notated in each section of the piece. 

The video is generative and reacts to the intensity of the musical lines via an envelope follower.
